About me

I have been passionate about fly fishing since 1981. Then I caught my first grayling on a dry fly in the San River. To this day, dry fly remains my favorite method of fishing, and while preparing fishing equipment for amateur fishing or competition, the dry fly rod is always the first one I arm. During about 40 years of fly fishing I got to know many different fisheries, but the San River moves my fishing heart the most, also because it is particularly attractive for fishing with dry fly. Since 1998 I have systematically participated in various fly competitions at the regional and national levels. In addition to sport fly fishing, I collect competition results, I prepare analyzes and summaries of the course and history of sporting events held in Poland and at international level. Through this site I want to share my studies.  I hope that the materials presented by me will bring back the memory of the history of fly competitions and present the achievements of people who created history and continue to contribute to the development of fly sport in Poland and in the world.
